Losing 2 loved ones

On 08/06/2022, my 20-year-old grandson was tragically murdered, and the phone call delivering this devastating news marked the end of our world. The disbelief consumed us all, especially my daughter who lived two hours away and received the same heartbreaking information about her son, my beloved grandson. Without delay, she hit the road to be with us during this unbearable time. Experiencing the murder of a loved one is an indescribable anguish that tears at the heart. We lost a bright young man full of potential. I vividly remember my 35-year-old son's response - he angrily threw his 40-inch TV in response to this heartbreaking news. The rest of us were left in shock, constantly moving back and forth, crying and seeking solace through embraces. It felt like living in a never-ending nightmare that still haunts us to this day. While the perpetrators responsible for this heinous act are behind bars, we are anxiously waiting for justice to be served during the impending trial.In the year 2023, just eight months later, another tragedy struck when my 35-year-old son passed away from internal bleeding that doctors couldn't stop.
